Romtext in Lelystad translates between Romanian, Dutch and English in all combinations. From documents for study and work to legal paperwork and spoken communication, we help you explain what you need in another language.
For study and work, we translate secondary-school, master’s and doctoral diplomas, transcripts and statements from educational institutions. Professional declarations and doctors’ and dentists’ diplomas are also among the documents we handle. We translate birth, marriage, divorce and death documents, passports, identity cards and driving licences, as well as letters, emails and other texts. Tell us where and how the translation will be used.
Legal translation is one of our specialisations. Examples include rental and purchase agreements, powers of attorney, declarations, wills and prenuptial agreements. For official documents, you can request a translation with a signature and stamp. Legalisation and apostille can be arranged on request; discuss the requirements for your document beforehand. We treat your information confidentially, including when we engage interpreters or translators.
Romanian–Dutch interpreting supports communication at business meetings, conferences, seminars, exhibitions and training sessions. When requesting an interpreter, provide the languages, subject, date, time and location. Discuss which documents are needed in advance and how to provide sensitive information, so the interpreter can prepare for the content and terminology.
We also provide oral translation at the notary, for example for a purchase agreement, power of attorney or will. The content may be conveyed in full or in summary. If you need notarial services or a lawyer as well, we work with partners. Romtext is a translation and interpreting agency, not its own notarial office or law firm.
There is no need to visit Lelystad. First discuss your document, languages and deadline via romtext@gmail.com. Before sending sensitive documents, agree what information is needed and how to provide it. The postal address is Amsteldiep 35, 8223 XM Lelystad. You can collect the translation at the office or receive it by post; any digital delivery is agreed with you.
After reviewing your document, we discuss the price and schedule. Depending on the document, a translation may be ready within 24–48 hours; this is not a fixed turnaround for every assignment. You can ask about discounts for larger translation volumes. An enquiry is not a confirmed assignment: Romtext checks interpreter or translator availability and confirms acceptance. New customers generally pay in advance. Ask which terms apply to your assignment; the linked new terms remain a proposal.
