From diplomas and certificates to notarial appointments

Which documents do you need for study, work or an official application? Below are examples and practical points to consider. Tell us the receiving authority and intended use so we can discuss the requirements for your translation.

For study and work, we translate secondary-school, master’s and doctoral diplomas, transcripts, educational and professional statements, and doctors’ and dentists’ diplomas. We also handle birth, marriage, divorce and death documents, passports, identity cards and driving licences. You can enquire about letters, emails and other documents too. This list is not exhaustive: the document and its intended use determine the requirements. Tell us which course, employer or authority needs the translation.
Legal translation is one of our specialisations: rental and purchase agreements, powers of attorney, declarations, wills and prenuptial agreements. For official documents, you can request a signed and stamped translation. Legalisation and apostille are arranged on request; discuss the receiving authority’s requirements beforehand. We treat your information confidentially, including when we engage interpreters or translators. For notarial services or a lawyer, we work with partners. Romtext is a translation and interpreting agency, not a notarial office or law firm.
There is no need to travel to Lelystad. First discuss your document, languages and deadline via romtext@gmail.com. Before sending sensitive documents, agree what information is needed and how to provide it. The postal address is Amsteldiep 35, 8223 XM Lelystad. After review, we discuss the price and schedule. Depending on the document, translation may take 24–48 hours; this does not apply to every assignment. You can ask about discounts for larger volumes. Collection and postal delivery are available; digital delivery is agreed separately. New customers generally pay in advance. Applicable terms are discussed for the assignment; the linked new terms remain a proposal.

Interpreting

Romanian–Dutch interpreting

A Romanian–Dutch interpreter supports communication at business meetings, conferences, seminars, exhibitions and training sessions. We also provide oral translation at notarial appointments, for example of a purchase agreement, power of attorney or will, in full or in summary. State the languages, subject, date, time and location. Discuss which documents the interpreter needs in advance and how to provide sensitive information, allowing preparation for the content and terminology. An enquiry is not a confirmed assignment: Romtext checks availability and confirms acceptance.
